How to Repair MDAC Windows for XP SP3

1. Click 'Start' and open 'My Computer.' Browse to 'C:\Windows\inf' and locate the file named 'mdac.inf.' Right-click on the file and choose 'Install' from the menu.
2. Browse to 'C:\Windows\servicepackfiles\i386' when prompted for 'adcjavas.inc' by the installer program. Locate the following files in the locations listed here when you are prompted for them:Browse to 'C:\Program Files\Common Files\System\msadc' and find 'handler.reg.'Browse to 'C:\Program Files\Common Files\System\Ado' and find 'MDACRdMe.htm'Browse to 'C:\Program Files\Common Files\System\Ole DB' and find 'oledbjvs.inc.'Browse to 'C:\Program Files\Common Files\MSSoap\Binaries' and find 'mssoap1.dll.'Browse to 'C:\Program Files\Common Files\MSSoap\Binaries' and find 'mssoapr.dll.'
3. Allow the install application to finish running. Reboot the computer when it is complete.
