How to Replace Opengl32.dll

1. Launch your Web browser and navigate to a download location for a working version of opengl32.dll (see Resources for a link to one of these locations).
2. Click the download link and, when prompted, click the 'Save File' button to save the file to your hard drive. Wait for the download to complete.
3. Double-click the downloaded file. If the file is a .zip file, as is the one you can download through the link in Resources, it will open in Winzip or whichever program is your computer's default for opening .zip files. When the unzipping utility opens, click the 'Unzip' or 'Extract' button and select the desktop as the destination for the .dll file. Opengl32.dll should appear on your desktop.
4. Double-click the 'My Computer' icon, then double-click the 'C:' icon. Navigate to the Windows system folder. If you're using a 32-bit version of Windows XP or Vista, this folder is 'C:\Windows\System32.' If you're using a 64-bit version of Windows XP or Vista, it's 'C:\Windows\SysWOW64.' In Windows NT and 2000, the folder is 'C:\WINNT\System32.' In Windows ME, 95 and 98, it's 'C:\Windows\System.'
5. Click and drag the opengl32.dll file you extracted onto the desktop into the system folder. If Windows asks you if you would like to replace the existing file, click 'Yes.'
6. Reboot your computer.
