How to Identify DLL Files


1. Click the Windows “Start” button.
2. Type “*.dll” without quotes into the search input box.
3. Click the “Search Everywhere” link to identify all files with the file extension of DLL on the computer. The Search Results interface will open with the list of DLL files.
4. Right-click on one of the listed DLL files and click “Open File Location” to open Windows Explorer to the exact DLL file location within the file system.
