Remove Symantec pcAnywhere
1. Click the "Start" button and select "Control Panel." Click "Add/Remove Programs."
2. Click on "Symantec pcAnywhere" in the list.
3. Click "Uninstall" and wait for your computer to remove the program. Reboot the computer.
Work Around Symantec pcAnywhere
4. Click the "Start" button and select "Restart." Tap the "F8" key until you see a Windows startup menu.
5. Select "Safe Mode" with the arrow keys and press "Enter." Your computer will now enter Safe Mode for editing.
6. Click the "Start" button and select "Run." Type "Regedit" and click "OK." The Registry Editor will now display.
7. Click "Edit" on the main toolbar and select "Find." Type in "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\WinLogon." Press "Enter" to find the key.
8. Right-click on the "GinaDLL" when it loads on the right side of the menu. Select "Delete" and click "Yes" to confirm. Close the Registry Editor and restart the computer.
