How to Disable an Active X Error Screen
1. Open up an Internet Explorer window.
2. Click on 'Tools,' and select 'Internet Options.'
3. Click on the 'Security' tab.
4. Click on the 'Custom level' button. A new window will open.
5. Scroll down until you see the 'ActiveX controls and plug-ins' options.
6. Select 'Disable' under 'Automatic prompting for ActiveX controls.'
7. Select 'Enable' for 'Download signed ActiveX controls.'
8. Select 'Enable' for 'Only allow approved domains to use ActiveX without prompt.'
9. Select 'Enable' for 'Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins.'
10. Click on 'OK' to confirm your changes.
11. Click on 'Apply' to apply the changes and close out the options window.
12. Close the web browser window.
13. Open a new Internet Explorer window and continue to browse the Internet.
