1. Launch your computer's default Web browser and navigate to the download site for the replacement version of msvcp60.dll. A link to this page can be found in the Resources section below.
2. Click the download link and save the .zip file to your computer. Wait for the download to complete.
3. Double-click the .zip file to open it in Winzip. Click the 'Extract' button and select your computer's desktop as the extraction location. Wait for the file to be extracted to your desktop.
4. Right-click the 'Start' button in Windows and select 'Explore' to open Windows Explorer. Browse through the left panel of Windows Explorer to find the Windows system folder. In the 32-bit version of Windows XP and Vista, the folder is at 'C:\Windows\System32.' In the 64-bit version of Windows XP and Vista, it's at 'C:\WindowsSysWOW64.' In Windows 2000 and NT, it's at 'C:\WINNT\System32.' Finally, in Windows 95, 98 and ME, it's 'C:\Windows\System.' When you find the system folder for your version, left-click it once to display its contents in the right panel of Windows Explorer.
5. Drag msvcp60.dll from your desktop into the right panel of Windows Explorer. If the file already exists there, you may be asked if you want to replace the file. If you're asked this, click 'Replace' or 'Yes.'
6. Reboot your computer.
