How to Disable ActiveX Prompts

1. Open Internet Explorer.
2. Select the 'Tools' menu and click 'Internet Options.'
3. Click 'Security.' In this window, choose the 'Custom Level...' button near the bottom.
4. Scroll down to 'ActiveX Controls and Plug-ins.' Select 'Disable' from all the ActiveX-related listings in this portion of the window. Click 'OK.' You will no longer be prompted to download and install ActiveX controls or plug-ins while using the Internet Explorer Web browser.
