1. Launch your Internet browser and make your way to a site such as \"dll-files.com\" or \"dlldll.com.\" These are two different sites that allow you to download any .dll file from its database and install it onto your computer.
2. Search your .dll file by name. The two different programs offer the downloads via alphabetical order, so you shouldn't have trouble locating your .dll file.
3. Select the .dll file you need and click \"Download.\" The file begins to download; however, it may download as a Zip file.
4. Launch your Zip file if the .dll file did download as a Zip (the file extension is .Zip instead of .dll). If the file did download as a .dll, click and drag the file into the folder location listed in the next step.
5. Click and drag the .Zip file into the software. Set your extraction point to \"C:\\\\Windows\\System32.\" This is the location of all .dll files on your computer.
6. Select \"Extract,\" and the .dll file is extracted from the .Zip file and placed into its needed folder. You can now close out your Zip software and begin running the programs you needed the .dll file for.
