How to Repair Crypt32 Dll

1. Open your recycle bin. One of the simplest causes of a missing crypt32.dll file is that you might have accidentally deleted it. If you find the file in the recycle bin then right-click on it and click 'Restore.'
2. Re-install a particular program if a crypt32.dll error pops up when you run that program. The re-installation process should not only re-install the program, but also the crypt32.dll file which goes along with the program.
3. Install any Windows updates that your computer prompts you to. Included in these updates are often new service packs which can include important .dll files--including crypt32.dll.
4. Scan your system with an antivirus program like AVG, Norton or Kaspersky and a malware detecting program such as Spyware Doctor, Malwarebytes or SpyBot. Sometimes an error with the crypt32.dll file can point to a problem in your system registry, which these scans will root out.
5. Restore your system to an earlier date, in particular to a date just before you began to receive error messages relating to the crypt32.dll file. If you restore your system to a point before the errors then there is every chance you could restore the file.

How to Fix Outlook Express for Free

1. Clean up unnecessary files. If it has been a long time since you have run the Disk Cleanup utility, Outlook Express' performance could be affected. To clean up your hard drive, go to the Accessories menu, select System Tools and then click on Disk Cleanup This will get rid of your cache, temporary Internet files, and other unnecessary files.
2. Compact existing Outlook Express files. If you handle a lot of messages through Outlook, the large file size could be making Outlook perform slowly. To compact files, check the Work Offline option in the File menu and then close all open folders and messages. Then, go to the File menu, select Folder, and then click Compact All Folders. While the compacting is occurring, do not perform any functions on the computer. Once finished, you can uncheck the Work Offline option and then resume working in Outlook Express.
3. Reregister Outlook Express as default mail client. If you have updated your software or installed another email handling client, Outlook Express may not be recognized as your email handling client, which can result in missed emails and a lot of error messages. To reregister Outlook Express, open the Run dialog box (found in the Start menu) and type msimn /reg. Close the run dialog box and open Internet Explorer. Go to the Options section (in the Tools menu) and then select the Programs tab. Under Default E-mail Client, select Outlook Express.
4. Reinstall system and registry files. If you are still getting error messages, there may be corrupted files within Outlook Express' system files. To redownload system and registry files, open the Run dialog box and type'regsvr32 urlmon.dll in the text box and click OK. Then type in the following commands (each followed by the OK button): regsvr32 mshtml.dll, regsvr32 shdocvw.dll, regsvr32 browseui.dll, and regsvr32 msjava.dll. After all of these have been entered, restart your computer to finish the installation.

How to Stop ActiveX Pop Ups

1. Open Internet Explorer by clicking 'Start,' then highlighting and clicking 'Internet Explorer' in the program list that appears or by double-clicking on the Internet Explorer icon on your desktop.
2. Open the 'Internet Options' application window. Click 'Tools' in the top menu bar of IE, then highlight and click 'Internet Options.'
3. Open the 'Custom level' Security settings. Click the 'Security' tab in the top of the 'Internet Options' application window, then click the 'Custom level' button in the 'Security' detail panel. You must create a custom security level, because the three standard settings offered by Microsoft all activate pop-ups for new ActiveX and none of them allow for unapproved running of unsigned ActiveX controls.
4. Disable the 'Allow previously unused ActiveX controls to run without prompt' by clicking the 'Disable' box beneath it. Scroll down in the 'Custom Settings' application window to locate this setting in the 'ActiveX control' section.
5. Disable the 'Automatic prompting for ActiveX controls' by clicking the 'Disable' box beneath this setting.
6. Enable the 'Download signed ActiveX controls' by clicking the 'Enable' button beneath this setting. Signed ActiveX controls are ones verified by Microsoft or an Internet Security licensing company.
7. Disable the 'Download unsigned ActiveX controls' and the 'Initialize and script ActiveX controls not marked as safe for scripting' by checking the 'disable' box underneath each setting. Turning off the prompts for these two settings will not display the content that requires any of these ActiveX controls, and you may see blank spots or empty application boxes in some websites.
8. Click 'OK' to leave 'Security Settings,' then click 'Apply' in the 'Internet Options' application window to save your settings. Click 'OK' to exit and return to Internet Explorer.

4. Press and hold the 'Reset/Power' button, if you use a MOXI box. This button is located on the bottom right corner of the box. Re-order the title once the box boots up.
