How to Fix Klif.sys in Windows XP


Users of Kaspersky Lab Products
1. Visit the Kaspersky Lab website (see Resources).
2. Click on the 'Support' button located in the top menu.
3. Scroll to the bottom of the page and Click 'Product Updates' listed under the 'Downloads' heading.
4. Locate your product from the list and click on the name.
5. Download and install the listed available product updates.
6. Restart the computer and test for the error.
No Kaspersky Lab Products Installed
7. Update the virus definitions file for your anti-virus software. You will usually find an update option within the program. Otherwise, visit the company's website. This particular virus reported by Microsoft requires updates after Sept. 13, 2010.
8. Run your anti-virus program to scan the computer.
9. Restart the computer and test for errors.
