How to Fix DirectShow
1. Open the "Start" menu and type "Command Prompt" into the search field at the bottom of the Start menu.
2. Right-click the Command Prompt result and select "Run as Administrator." Click "Yes" at the prompt.
3. Copy the following commands simultaneously, then paste them into the prompt:regsvr32 /u /s c:\windows\system32\quartz.dll
regsvr32 /u /s c:\windows\system32\amstream.dll
regsvr32 /u /s c:\windows\system32\devenum.dll
regsvr32 /u /s c:\windows\system32\qcap.dll
regsvr32 /u /s c:\windows\system32\dsound.dll
sfc /scanfile=c:\windows\system32\quartz.dll
sfc /scanfile=c:\windows\system32\amstream.dll
sfc /scanfile=c:\windows\system32\devenum.dll
sfc /scanfile=c:\windows\system32\qcap.dll
sfc /scanfile=c:\windows\system32\dsound.dll
regsvr32 /s c:\windows\system32\quartz.dll
regsvr32 /s c:\windows\system32\amstream.dll
regsvr32 /s c:\windows\system32\devenum.dll
regsvr32 /s c:\windows\system32\qcap.dll
regsvr32 /s c:\windows\system32\dsound.dllPress Enter.
4. Close the Command Prompt and restart your computer. DirectShow will be restored.
