I Cannot Open Outlook Express Because of an Msoe.dll Error


Repair Msoe.dll File
1. Click 'Start' then 'Run.'
2. Type 'sfc /scannow' and click 'OK.' The 'Windows File Protection' window opens. This program will search for corrupted DLL files on your system and, when found, will repair or replace them.
3. Follow the directions to repair the msoe.dll file. Restart your computer.
Reinstall Outlook Express
4. Insert your Windows operating system disk in the computer drive.
5. Click 'Start,' then 'Run.'
6. Type '%systemroot%\inf' (without quotation marks) in the 'Run' box and click 'OK.' The 'INF' folder opens.
7. Locate the 'MSOE50.inf' file, right-click on this file, click 'Install. When prompted, browse to your Windows OS CD and click 'OK.' This process will reinstall Outlook Express and put the file back in your system. When done, restart your computer.
