How to Install the Adobe Reader Customization Wizard


1. Download the 'CustWiz1000_en_US.exe' file from Adobe.com. Click the 'Download Now' button. An alert box offers a 'Run' or 'Save' option. The 'Run' option prompts the file to install automatically, while the 'Save' option saves a file on to the computer hard drive.
2. Click the 'Save' button. Saving the file keeps it available in case there is an error requiring re-installation of the Customization Wizard.
3. Open the folder which contains the file. Double click 'CustWiz1000_en_US.exe' to start the installation program. Click 'Run' when the pop-up option opens.
4. Click 'Next' when the Windows installation wizard begins, and then click the 'I accept the terms in the license agreement' radio button when the End User License Agreement page appears. Click 'Next' again.
5. Click 'Next' in the following window to assign the program files to the default folder. Note the location of the files for troubleshooting purposes, in the case of an installation error.
6. Select 'Yes' when the Windows alert box pops up to ask for permission to make changes to the hard drive. Click 'Next' again.
7. Click 'Finish' to complete installation.
