How to Fix a Memory Leak in Windows XP


1. Right-click the Desktop. Select "New Shortcut."
2. Type "C:\Windows\system32\rundll32.exe advapi32.dll,ProcessIdleTasks" in the box that appears.
3. Click "Next" and enter "FlushRAM" into the "Name" field. Click "Finish."
4. Double-click the shortcut to flush system memory, flushing the memory leak before it becomes problematic.
