How to Fix System 32 Errors Free

Remove Viruses
1. Run the scan feature in your computer’s anti-virus software. To run the scan, open the antivirus software from the taskbar of your computer. When the program launches, click either “Start Scan” or “Scan Now” on the first screen to begin scanning.
2. Delete any files that are found by the anti-virus software. Once the scan has stopped, you are automatically prompted to quarantine or delete the files found during the scan. Many of the virus files should be included in the scan results.
3. Install a registry cleaner to your computer if you do not already have one. You can find registry cleaners free for download at CNET.com (see Resources.)
4. Scan your computer using the registry cleaner. Registry cleaner scans are also generally started from one button on the first page. Delete the files found by the registry cleaner to eliminate any files left behind in the registry during the anti-virus scan.
Download and Install Driver Updates
5. Go to your computer’s “Start” menu. Select “All Programs” to view the available applications, and choose “Windows Update.” On some systems, you may be prompted to click “Yes” to confirm that you want to perform the operation.
6. Click “Check for updates” from the left pane of the “Windows Update” window. When the update options display, choose “View available updates.” The system automatically detects all of the devices and system files on your computer, and a list of updates that are currently available for the devices appears in the window.
7. Highlight any driver with “32” in it to update the files in the “System 32” folder on your system. Press the “Install” button once you have selected the drivers that you want to install to install the drivers to your system.
