How to Delete Browseui.dll


1. Reboot your computer by clicking on 'Start' and 'Turn Off Computer.' Once you have clicked on 'Turn Off Computer,' click on the 'Restart' button. The computer will restart.
2. Press the 'F8' key while the computer is booting back up in order to load the Windows Advanced Options. Cursor down to the 'Safe Mode With Command Prompt' option and press the 'Enter' key.
3. Press the 'Eject' button on your computer CD ROM drive and place your Windows installation CD into the drive. Press the CD tray back into the computer or press the button on the CD ROM drive to close the tray. Once the Windows installation CD loads, the command prompt will load.
4. Press the 'Enter' key when'cd c:\windows\system32' appears, afterward press the 'Enter' key when'ren browseui.dll browseui.bak' appears. The 'F:' drive will appear, when it does, press the 'Enter' key. Press 'Enter' when 'cd i386' appears, and finally, press 'Enter' to 'expand Browseui.dl_ c:\cystem32\browseui.dll' to finish unregistering and reregistering the 'Browsedui.dll' file.
5. Click on the 'Start' button and 'Turn Off Computer.' Click on the 'Shutdown' button to shutdown the computer and successfully update the changes to the Browse.dll file.

How to Customize a Remote Desktop Web Connection


1. Click 'Start,' type 'mstsc' and press 'Enter.'
2. Click 'Options' and then click on 'Display.'
3. Move the display configuration slider to the left or the right to change the display resolution.

How to Uninstall a Registry Booster From a Computer


1. Click the Windows 'Start' menu and click the 'Control Panel.'
2. Click 'Programs' and click 'Programs and Features' if you are using Windows Vista. Double-click 'Add or Remove Programs' if you are using Windows XP. This launches the programs window.

How to Install D3dx9


1. Launch your Web browser and navigate to a page where you can download d3dx9_31.dll for free. You can find a link to one of these download locations in the Resources section.
2. Click the download link and follow the on-screen prompts to save the file to your computer.
3. Open the file by double-clicking it. The file will open in Winzip, WinRAR or whichever program our computer uses to open .zip files. When the file opens, click 'Unzip' or 'Extract' to extract the file. When the program asks you where you want to extract the file, select your computer's desktop. D3dx9_31.dll should appear on your desktop.
4. Double-click the 'My Computer' icon, then double-click the 'C:' drive. Navigate through the folders to the Windows system folder. This folder is 'C:\Windows\System32' in Windows XP and Vista for 32-bit systems, 'C:\Windows\SysWOW64' in Windows XP and Vista for 64-bit systems, 'C:\WINNT\System32' in Windows 2000 and NT, and 'C:\Windows\System' in Windows ME, 95 and 98.
5. Find the d3dx9_31.dll file you extracted onto your desktop and drag it into the system folder. You may see a message from Windows asking you if you'd like to replace the existing file with the new one. If you see this, it means that an older version of the file, which may be corrupted, is already in the folder. Click the 'Yes' button to overwrite the old file.
6. Reboot your computer. Windows won't recognize the new file as part of the file system until you reboot.

1. Open the Firefox browser.
2. Go to 'Tools' > 'Add-ons' > 'Plugins'.
3. Click on 'Shockwave Flash' and press the 'Disable' button beneath it.

5. Go to 'Tools' > 'Internet Options' > 'Program'.
6. Click on 'Manage add-on options' > 'Filters' > 'Adds-ons that run without requiring permission'.

How to Extract Msvcrt.dll


1. Open the computer's ZIP extraction software. If your computer does not have such a program currently installed, a free demo can be downloaded from WinZip.com.
2. Drag the zipped msvcrt.dll file into the main window of the extraction software. You will now need to select an extraction location. For easy extraction and to remember where the file is, extract it to the desktop. However, if you want to replace the current msvcrt.dll or reinstall it, select the location 'C:\Windows\System32.' This is commonly where all .dll files are located.

However, if there is a current msvcrt.dll file, you will be notified with a pop-up. Select 'Yes' to overwrite the current file, and the msvcrt file will be extracted into the specified location.

How to Reinstall System32


1. Place your Windows 7 operating system CD in your computer.
2. Press the 'F8' key on your keyboard while the computer boots up. This command enters the 'Advanced boot options' menu.
3. Select the 'Repair my computer' option, and then press 'Enter.' The System Recovery Options screen opens.
4. Select 'Startup Repair' from the list, and click 'Next.' The utility will scan your computer for the problem involving the system32 folder, find the damaged or missing system files, and replace them with backup copies. Once this is done, your computer will boot into your Windows desktop.

How to Register OCX


1. Double-click on the 'My Computer' icon on your desktop. Browse to the location of the OCX file that you want to register.
2. Right-click on the OCX file while holding down the 'Shift' key. Select 'Open With' from the pop-up menu. Click the 'Select the Program from a list' button in the 'Open With' dialog box.
3. Choose the 'Browse' option. Navigate to the 'C:\Windows\system32' directory. Select the file named 'RegSvr32.exe' and click the 'Open' button. Choose 'OK' in the 'Open With' dialog box.
4. Ensure that the OCX file was successfully registered; a message should appear to confirm the registration.

How to Fix Msvbvm60.dll Problems


Repairing Visual Basic
1. Visit the Microsoft Visual Basic 6 website (see Resources).
2. Choose your operating system's main language from the drop-down menu. Click 'Change' if this lanugage is other than English.
3. Click 'Download' and choose 'Save to Disk...' Save this file somewhere you can easily access it, such as the Desktop.
4. Double-click the .exe file that has been saved to your desktop. This will launch the Visual Basic repair and install program.
5. Accept the Terms of Use agreement and complete the installation.
6. Click 'Finished' once the installation is complete. You should now be able to run programs that use Msvbvm60.dll without issue.
