How to Extract Msvcrt.dll

1. Open the computer's ZIP extraction software. If your computer does not have such a program currently installed, a free demo can be downloaded from WinZip.com.
2. Drag the zipped msvcrt.dll file into the main window of the extraction software. You will now need to select an extraction location. For easy extraction and to remember where the file is, extract it to the desktop. However, if you want to replace the current msvcrt.dll or reinstall it, select the location 'C:\Windows\System32.' This is commonly where all .dll files are located.
3. Click the 'Extract' button. If no file is currently in the folder with the same name, the file will extract automatically. However, if there is a current msvcrt.dll file, you will be notified with a pop-up. Select 'Yes' to overwrite the current file, and the msvcrt file will be extracted into the specified location.
