1. Open your Internet Explorer browser. It doesn't matter what page your browser opens to as long as it is open.
2. Click on the 'Tools' option at the top of your Internet Explorer screen. Next, click on 'Internet Options,' followed by 'Security Tab.' In the Security Tab, click on the 'Custom Level' tab located at the bottom of the screen.
3. Check the 'Medium' security level drop down box once on the 'Custom Level' screen. You will also need to browse through the options, find the setting 'Access Data Across Domains' and put a check in that box to enable the feature. Finally choose the 'Apply' option and the exist the program.
4. Close and reopen your Internet Explorer browser and try to navigate to a website. You should now be able to load pages. If it is still unable to load, try restarting your computer, as some changes don't always take effect immediately upon applying them.
Using MS DOS Prompt
5. Click on the Windows 'Start' button, followed by the 'Run' option. You should now see a Run box. In that box, type 'CMD' (without the quotation marks). MS DOS will be launched.
6. Type the following message into your MS DOS window, 'netsh winsock reset catalog' (without the quotation marks), and then press 'Enter.' Next, type in
'netsh int ip reset reset.log' (again, without quotes) and press 'Enter.' Finally, type 'Exit' and then hit 'Enter,' or simply close your MS DOS window.
7. Go to the 'Start' button and click on the 'Shut Down' option. Choose 'Restart' and allow your computer to restart. You should now be able to launch Internet Explorer and use it as you normally would.

6. Open Microsoft Internet Explorer.
7. Type update.microsoft.com in your Internet browser's address bar. Press 'Enter.'
8. Click the 'Express' option next to 'Get high-priority updates.' Wait for the Microsoft website to check what updates your computer needs. Click the 'Install Updates' button. Restart your computer, when prompted, after the critical updates have finished installing. After updates are downloaded and installed from the Microsoft website, the Automatic Updates service can correctly detect when your computer needs updates and download them automatically.
9. Click 'Start.' Right-click 'My Computer' and select 'Properties.' Click the 'Automatic Updates' tab. Click the 'Automatic' radio button option if it is not already selected. Click 'OK.'

How to Fix Direct3D


Enable Direct3D
1. Click on the “Start” button. If using Windows XP, click on “Run.” If using Windows 7 or Vista, click in the “Search” box.
2. Type “dxdiag” without the quotes and press the “Enter” key.
3. Click on the “Display 1” tab. Ensure that Direct3D is set to “Enabled.” If it's disabled, click in the box next to “Direct3D Acceleration” and select “Enabled.”
4. Click on the “Display 2” tab. Ensure that Direct3D is set to “Enabled' on this tab as well.
Update DirectX
5. Click on “Start,” then on “All Programs.”
6. Click on the “Windows Update” link.
7. Allow the automatic update process to finish while following any on-screen instructions. Restart your computer after the update completes.
Use Microsoft-Certified Video Drivers
8. Click on the “Start” button. If using Windows XP, click on “Run.” If using Windows 7 or Vista, click in the “Search” box.
9. Type 'desk.cpl' without the quotes and press the “Enter” key.
10. Click on the “Adapter” tab.
11. Click on the “Properties” button.
12. Click on the “Driver” tab.
13. Click the “Update Driver” button.
14. Double-click on “Search Automatically” in Windows Vista and 7. In Windows XP, click in the box next to “Yes, this time only,” and click “Next.”Note: This process will attempt to download a Microsoft-certified driver. The driver downloaded may not be the most recent version. However, it is good practice when troubleshooting to download a Microsoft-certified driver to prevent compatibility issues.
Reinstall Your Application
15. Go to “Start,” then “Control Panel.”
16. Click on the “Uninstall a program” link in Windows Vista or 7. Click on the “Add/Remove Programs” icon in XP.
17. Scroll down to the application that is giving the error and double-click to uninstall it.
18. Install your application.

How to Install the Axis ActiveX Control


1. Access the website from which you are attempting to download the Axis ActiveX Control components. You can either click on the website's link or enter its full URL address in the search bar at the top of the browser.

How to Uninstall Flash OCX


Download the Adobe Flash Player Uninstall
1. Open your Internet browser. Double-click on the icon for the program you use to surf the Internet.
2. Navigate to Adobe's website where they offer the Flash Uninstall (see 'Resources').
3. Select the version of Adobe's Uninstaller that matches your computer and operating system. For example, if your computer runs Windows, click on the matching uninstall file download.
4. Save Adobe's Flash Player Uninstall. When prompted, click 'Save' to begin downloading the program. Then click 'Save to Desktop' in the application window.
5. Close all applications after the file has downloaded, including your Web browser. Make sure that you do not have any instant messaging programs open in 'hidden' mode (where they are running in the background). To check, right-click on the icons of any instant messaging programs in the lower menu bar of your screen. In the submenu that appears, click 'Close' to shut down any of these hidden programs.
