Update NVidia Drivers
1. Click 'Start,' then 'Control Panel.' Click 'Switch to Classic View' in the left column of the Control Panel if the option is not currently selected.
2. Double-click 'System.'
3. Click the 'Hardware' tab, then click 'Device Manager.'
4. Double-click 'Display adapters' to expand the category, then double-click your NVidia graphics card, which will likely be labeled as a 'GeForce' card.
5. Click the 'Driver' tab, then click 'Update.' Allow Windows to search online for a newer driver, and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the driver process. Restart the computer.
Remove USB Devices
6. Find the 'Safely remove hardware' icon in the Windows XP system tray, and double-click it.
7. Highlight the USB device you wish to remove, then click 'Stop.'
8. Click 'OK.' Wait for Windows XP to eject the USB device.
9. Click 'OK' when Windows verifies that you may remove the hardware, then click 'Close.'
10. Unplug the USB device from your computer.
Replace the Rundll32.exe File
11. Insert your Windows XP installation disk. Close the setup window.
12. Click 'Start,' then 'Run.'
13. Type 'expand d:\i386\rundll32.ex_ c:\windows\system32\rundll32.exe' (without quotes). You must change the drive letter that corresponds with your CD/DVD drive if it is not 'd.'
14. Remove the Windows XP installation disk, and restart the computer.
