How to Search Dll Files

1. Right click the Windows 'Start' button in the task bar. Select 'Explore' to open a Windows Explorer screen, or 'Open Windows Explorer' in Windows 7.
2. Enter '*.dll' in the search text box on the top-right corner of the Explorer window. The asterisk symbol indicates that the search function should find all files with the DLL extension.
3. Press the 'Enter' key on your keyboard and Windows begins the search.
4. Scroll through the list of DLL files found on your computer. The information displayed will include the directory path where they are stored.
