Microsoft SP3 Conflict With Outlook Express 6

1. Click the Windows "Start" button and select "Run." Type "%systemroot%\inf" and press "Enter" to open a list of INF files.
2. Right-click the "MSOE50.inf" file and select "Install." When you are prompted to insert the XP CD, insert it into your CD-ROM drive and click "OK." Windows re-installs the Outlook Express software.
3. Open a Web browser and download the latest service pack from Microsoft for Outlook Express. Download it to any temporary folder on your computer.
4. Double-click the downloaded "IE6.0sp1-KB887797-Windows-2000-XP-x86-ENU.exe" file. The software searches for the current Outlook Express installations and applies the service pack to the computer.
