How to Replace Framedyn.dll
1. Open your Web browser and navigate to a download location for a free copy of framedyn.dll. You can find a link to one of these pages in the Resources section.
2. Click the download link and follow the on-screen prompts to save the file to your hard drive. When the download completes, double-click the file to open it. It is a .zip file, so it will open in your computer's default program for unzipping files. When this opens, click the 'Unzip' or 'Extract' button and select the desktop as the extraction location.
3. Double-click the 'My Computer' icon and browse through your hard drive to the Windows system folder. Where you should look for this folder depends on what version of Windows you're using. If you use a 32-bit version of XP or Vista, you should look in 'C:\Windows\System32.' If you use the 64-bit version of one of these operating systems, look in 'C:\Windows\SysWOW64' instead. Check the 'C:\WINNT\System32' folder if you use Windows 2000 or NT, or the 'C:\Windows\System' folder if you use Windows ME, 95 or 98.
4. Drag the framedyn.dll file you extracted to your desktop into the Windows system folder. If you're notified that there is an existing file of the same name in that folder, select the option to replace the existing file with the new one.
5. Restart Windows. The changes won't take effect until you restart.
