How to Expand Kernel32.dll From Windows

1. Start up your computer and let it boot. Ignore the error message about kernel32.dll and leave it there.
2. Click your 'Start' menu, 'All Programs,' 'Accessories' and 'Run.'
3. Pur your Windows CD or DVD into your disc drive and wait for the disc to load.
4. Type 'expand d:\i386\kernel32.dl_ c:\windows\system32\kernel32.dll' into the 'Run' dialog. This takes the DLL file from your installation disc and decompresses it into your Windows system folder. Restart your computer after you finish doing this.
