How to Correct the ActiveX Error for SP3
First Method
1. Double-click the desktop's Internet Explorer icon to run the Web browser.
2. Go to the Web page that is giving you the problem and click 'Tools.' Select 'Manage Add-ons' and click 'Enable or Disable Add-ons.' This will open the 'Manage Add-ons' dialog box.
3. Find either the 'Microsoft Terminal Services Client Control ActiveX' control or the 'Microsoft RDP client Control ActiveX' control.
4. Click the control to select it and click 'Enable.' Click 'OK' to close the dialog box and to save recent changes.
Second Method
5. Click the 'Start' button on the desktop and click the 'Run' icon.
6. Type 'regedit.exe' into the 'Run' text box and click the 'OK' button. The Microsoft registry editor will open.
7. Go to the left-side pane of the registry editor and navigate to the following entry:'HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Ext \ Settings'
8. Double-click the 'Settings' option. The entry will expand.
9. Right-click on '{7584c670-2274-4efb-b00b-d6aaba6d3850}' and click the 'Delete' option. Confirm by clicking 'Yes.'
