How to Repair the Winsock Error
1. Click on the 'Start' button from your desktop and then click on the 'Network' option. Click on the 'Network and Sharing Center' option.
2. Click on the 'Diagnose and Repair' option and allow time for the repair process to complete. Close out of your Network and Sharing Center window.
3. Click on the 'Start' button again if the error still occurs and then enter 'cmd' into the 'Search' box. Press the 'Enter' key on your keyboard.
4. Right-click on the 'cmd.exe' file and then click on the 'Run as administrator' option. Click on the 'Continue' option.
5. Enter 'netsh winsock reset' into the command line and then press the 'Enter' key. Type 'exit' into the command line and the press the 'Enter' key.
