How to Fix Winsock XP Runtime Error 53

1. Click 'Start' and select 'Search.'
2. Select 'All Files and Folders.' Type in the name of the DLL reported during the Runtime 53 error and press 'Search.'
3. Right-click the DLL file and select 'Properties.' Click 'Details,' look at 'Folder Path' and write down the location of the file.
4. Right-click 'Start,' click 'Explore' and navigate to the location of the DLL file.
5. Drag and drop the DLL file from its current location into the 'System32' folder in the 'Windows' directory on the 'C' drive.
