How to Troubleshoot quot;Command and Conquer 2: Tiberian Sunquot;
1. Install 'Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun' from your original game disc, the 'First Decade' compilation or the free Internet download.
2. Navigate to the folder where the game is installed and left click the 'game.exe' file to highlight it. Right-click the highlighted file, then select 'Properties' from the pop-up menu.
3. Click the 'Compatibility' tab, then click the check box next to 'Run this program in compatibility mode for.' Select one of the older versions of Windows, such as 'Windows XP' from the drop-down menu. If you still experience problems, select another version from the drop-down menu and try again.
4. Click 'Apply' and click 'OK' to close the menu. Right-click on the 'game.exe' file and select 'Run as Administrator' from the pop-up menu. The game will start and should now be fully working.
5. Remove your game disc from the DVD drive and check for scratches or dirt. Clean it if you find any irregularities, as any damage or smudges on the disc can lead to the game locking up while trying to load data from it.
