How to Fix a System32.dll Error

Fixing System32.dll Errors
1. Download a registry cleaner and run it on your system. This will usually fix, not only System32.dll problems, but also all DLL files. Alternatively, you can search for online registry scanners that will allow you to scan your registry without the need to install any applications and fix the problem remotely.
2. Locate the missing file on the Internet. Once you locate a site that offers the file, read the comments from people to see if the file was helpful.
3. Download the file to your hard drive and specify the folder where it should go. Usually the download will come in a compressed format. Use a decompressing software to unzip the file and extract the contents to a specified folder. Locate the 'System32' folder on your hard drive using the path below: '<drive>\Windows\System32\.'
4. Copy the 'System32.dll' file that you downloaded into this folder. If prompted to replace with an existing file, click OK and the file should be copied successfully into the folder.
5. Reinstall the program that causes the missing DLL error to pop up once it is run. This will usually fix the problem by checking the 'system32.dll' file.
