1. Click the Windows 'Start' button and click the 'All Programs' option. Click 'Accessories' and click 'Remote Desktop' afterward. A connection dialog box will appear and open.
2. Type in the name of the Remote Desktop computer and click 'Connect.' Input your Windows username and password in response to the Windows login screen. Click 'OK' after entering this information.
3. Click the Windows 'Start' button and click the 'Computer' option in the remote computer. Locate the 'tsclient' drive and double-click this drive. Go to the location of the OCX file that you plan to install. Right-click the file and click 'Copy' in the submenu. Go to the remote computer's desktop, right-click on the desktop and select 'Paste.' The file is available to install in the command line.
4. Click the computer's 'Start' button and type 'cmd' into the 'Search' text field. Press the 'Enter' key. The command line utility will open.
5. Type 'regsvr32 /s activex.ocx' and where 'activex.ocx' is your own ActiveX control file, then press the 'Enter' key. The file will install and register on the remote computer.
